Sierra Grande School After-Prom
In an effort to ensure Prom Night was a safe and memorable experience for the students of Sierra Grande School, our Bealls store in Alamosa, CO worked in conjunction with the school to sponsor after-prom parties. These parties offer a safe, drug free activity for students to attend following their prom. Due to the generous support of local businesses; such as Bealls, parents and volunteers, the events were a success! No drinking issues or accidents were reported for Sierra Grande School. Thank you to our Bealls associates for supporting their local community and making a difference in the lives of these young people.
Epilepsy Awareness Courage Walk
Members of the Country Stars 4-H Club recently decided to begin a new event for a cause close to their hearts, the Epilepsy Awareness Courage Walk. In conjunction with the local Epilepsy Foundation, the purpose of the walk was to raise epilepsy awareness. In support of their initiative, our Peebles store in Gallipolis, OH opened their doors and allowed club members the opportunity to represent their cause and educate customers on epilepsy. They distributed educational materials and invited customers to sign up and attend their upcoming walk. Their efforts in one day raised $175!
