Peebles donates $1,867.00

Peebles in Prince Frederick, Maryland recently raised $1,867 for their local Hospice group during the annual 30 Days of Giving Campaign. Calvert Hospice began serving patients with serious, life-limiting illnesses in Calvert County in 1984. They provide expert medical care, pain and symptom management, and emotional and spiritual support. They personalize care to each individual patient and strive to ensure their wishes are followed. Donation to Teen Challenge

As part of our recent 30 Days of Giving campaign, several of our Louisiana Stage stores raised $3,260 for the Louisiana Teen Challenge organization. The organizations mission is to provide youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. By applying biblical principles, Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. Through committed staff and effective programs, Teen Challenge seeks to produce graduates who function responsibly and productively in society, and who have healthy relationships in the work place, family, church and community.

Texans Care Day

Stage Stores was proud to take part in ‎Texans Care Day at Santa Maria Hostel in Houston, TX. Stage Associates assisted with painting children’s play structures, painting inside the facility, re-staining deck and walkways, re-landscaping the playground, power washing exterior of building, weeding and gardening. The mission of Santa Maria is to empower women and their families to lead healthy, successful, productive, and self-fulfilling lives. Santa Maria has over 50 years of experience serving women in crisis, and continually responding to the emerging needs of the community we serve.

Peebles Supports Relay for Life

A solid cause in the fight against cancer, a fashion show, good food, and quality door prizes were all part of the 24th Annual Jackson County Cancer Tea held May 14 at the Christ United Methodist Church's Family Life Center. Peebles Department Store in Jackson took part in the event with a youth fashion show. The young ladies who participated in the show each wore two Peebles outfits for the audience to see. #CommunityCounts

150 Pair of Shoes Donated

Stage Stores and Soles4Souls partnered together to provide 150 pairs of shoes for elementary students at Namaste Charter School during the recent CRMC Conference in Chicago. Soles4Souls is a not for profit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing. Community Counts
