Ticketing

SSI requires all merchandise to be "Pre-Ticketed" upon receipt.
The following accurate information is required on tickets:
- Department number (as shown on our purchase order)
- Class number (as shown on our purchase order)
- Vendor Style Number (VPN) (as shown on our purchase order)
- Retail amount (as shown on our purchase order)
- Size (as shown on our purchase order) if applicable
- Color (as shown on our purchase order) if applicable
- UPC printed on ticket must be scannable with human readable data that complies with the industry standard (must match catalog)
- SSI retail must appear in Zone 6 of the standard UPC ticket. If supplying a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) ticket, retail must appear in Zone 7 leaving a blank Zone 6.
Vendors who utilize MSRP format tickets, requirements are as follows:
- Vendor Style Number (VPN) (as shown on our purchase order)
- Color (as shown on our purchase order) if applicable
- Size (as shown on our purchase order) if applicable
- UPC printed on the ticket must be scannable with human readable data that complies with the industry standard (must match catalog)
- MSRP retail (Purchase Order retail must match)
Please note, that shoe vendors are required to use the shoe ticket format as shown in the example below.
If you are unable to comply with the above requirements you can use any outside resource to print the tickets for you. For your convenience, below we have listed some contacts for outside ticketing companies:

If in the event you are unable to set up your account with a third party ticket supplier in a timely manner or an emergency order occurs, SSI may make an exception and supply tickets to the vendor, excluding shoe tickets. If approved, a $50 non-negotiable fee will be assessed to cover the cost of tickets and shipping.
When ordering tickets from any of the above sources you must specify that they are for SSI, to ensure they print the ticket in the proper format, and avoid non-compliance charges.

*Please note we are not able to outline every merchandise type ordered by SSI. Please identify grouping that is closest to merchandise being ticketed for SSI and utilize ticketing placement outlined.
- Gum labels should not be placed directly on merchandise. They can be affixed to product packaging or hangtag.
- Additional tickets should not cover the UPC barcode, or any other required information.
- Random ticket errors found within a style on a shipment will result in a vendor compliance charge of .50 cents for every piece within that problem style. This charge covers the expense to audit every unit within that style and fix the tickets that contain errors.
